台風を待ってる waiting for the typhoon

So, its now almost 12 on Wednesday night. In the next day/day and a half there’s a category three typhoon that’s waiting to hit us here in Okinawa. So far we’ve just had really strong wind and quite a fair bit of rain. There’s supposed to be thunderstorms sometime tonight or tomorrow and I guess I’ll find out if we’ll actually be having classes tomorrow or Friday. Man…I’d love to have a break (^^)v
LOL, I should really be worried about the coming typhoon, but I’m not. Instead I feel like updating my blog ^^ …even if it periodically erases -_-Let’s see, last time I said that I was going to introduce my office mates. However, recently, my studies/research has gotten to be very busy so I haven’t gotten around to trying to get pictures or anything. However, next time for sure! Because we are going to (if the weather holds up) a nomi-kai (飲み会). Let’s see, how to explain a nomi-kai. The quickest and simplest way is that it is an outing where we meet and go drink. However, it’s more than just that and if you wanna know, just comment ^-^Instead I’ll talk about what has happened since the last post. As of the last post, I had joined (sorta) the billiards circle which meets every Wednesday night. Since then, I have joined two more circles, バレー同好会 (people that have an interest in volleyball) and 琉球大学アルティメット(Ryudai Ultimate Club). The バレー同好会 meets every Monday and Friday. The people there are quite amazing, if I do say so. They are all players from high school time but at least I’m able to hold my own ^_^
琉球大学アルティメット, now can you guess what this is? THAT’S RIGHT, ITS ULTIMATE FRISBEE!! I was happily surprised to find that most of the people are fairly good too. (Though none have been playing for as long as me, they are good. ^^) I just went this past Tuesday and it was incredibly fun. (Maybe more so because the typhoon winds were just starting to come so the winds were quite strong :p) This club meets every Tuesday and Thursday.So, for those of you that can keep track of days, yes every weekday night now has an activity (or two depending on some other circles…).

Hmm, now that that’s out of the way, the weather did clear up some this past weekend. Luckily for us, it was also the same time as our outing to きらきら海 (kirakira beach) and so we had a real fun playing in the sun and having our BBQ. I’m definitely going to do that again!! I can’t wait :p

Well, it’s now about time to try and get some sleep since I’m still not certain if get class tomorrow.
